Write-On at Chicago School of Woodworking

December 8, 2019, Rick, Jody, Alan, Scott and Jordan spent the day at the Chicago School of Woodworking turning pens and bottle stoppers for holiday presents. Most of them had never done this before so we covered all the process from drilling and cutting the blanks, through gluing and turning the barrels, finishing and assembly. They all completed at least two high-quality pens and two bottle stoppers. They should graduate to more complicated turning shortly and sign up for coming turning classes.
