The Chicago School of Woodworking Spindle-Turning Seminar was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, with three new turners. Harry, John and Bill each spent the day learning the basics of spindle turning and then using their new skills to create useful bottle stoppers, which they finished with friction polish or walnut oil. Although none of them had prior woodturning experience, all three quickly mastered the basics of spindle turning. We were proud of all three and hope they continue the journey with us at the Chicago School of Woodworking
