The Chicago Woodturners lost a good friend and valuable
member on June 21, 2025. Michael was the driving force
behind our upgrades to the audio-visual systems. He was
generous with equipment as well as knowledge. Through
his company, CavCom, he donated, or facilitated the
acquisition of most of our state of the art equipment. Mike
was relatively new to turning but he approached it with a
passion, as he did everything he became involved with:
sports car racing, flying, fly fishing, whatever. It had to be
the best, the fastest, newest. He will be missed!
