Empty Bowls at Oakton Community College. The Chicago Woodturners presented over two hundred Bowls and other turned objects at the 2018 Empty Bowls held at Oakton Community College on Saturday December 1, 2018. Ten members of the Chicago Woodturners assisted the shoppers with their selections from the bowls donated by members of the Chicago Woodturners and raised over $3,000 for the regional food pantries. All proceeds from these sales go directly to the food pantries.
