Friday, November 16, 2018, the Chicago Woodturners introduced approximately 70 of the Palatine High School students to woodturning. They all were able to turn a maple pen and most showed an advanced understanding of form and design. We have been doing this for a few years as part of the school’s Artsapalooza Festival and I’m not sure who gets more out of it.
