Turn -On! Chicago (August 1-4, 2024) is over but Nick Agar, one of the Demonstrators, was able to spend the next weekend with us in a hands-on class. He is a master of carving and coloring, as well as turning. A few fortunate members of the Chicago Woodturners were able to experience one on one, hands-on, mentoring. We did an unnatural natural edge bowl, a carved box and an embellished ornament. Now we have to try to duplicate the experience in our own shops. Thank you Nick for taking us outside our comfort zones. The downside is learning about all those new tools.
